WHAT? More than Human

WHERE? Design Museum, 224–238 Kensington High Street, London W8 6AG

WHEN? Now until 5 October 2025

WHY GO? To rethink our relationship with nature. The 2025 trend: exhibitions that question how we relate to our habitat. This design‑focused show delivers radical ideas on how design can transform all living beings. It’s not just about us—it’s about ecosystem interconnection. From a refuge for solitary bees to seaweed installations highlighting human impact on the ocean, around 140 works encourage us to wonder how animals and plants perceive us. Through paintings, murals, interactive installations and product design, the exhibition is delivered in collaboration with partners and the Design Museum’s Future Observatory. It’s a one‑stop show for eco‑curious visitors.

IN THE KNOW As a tribute, designers have created an outdoor installation, Dwellings Rehomed—16 bird houses and one bird bath in the Design Museum garden, on display for two years.
